Funding for community groups and individuals affected by Covid-19
Are you a community group or an individual and have been affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic? You may be able to get support from the following sources.
Community groups can find out more about sources of assistance during the coronavirus pandemic through various sources here.
Community groups and charities that are responding to and are impacted by the coronavirus pandemic can also get help from Foundation Scotland’s Response, Recovery and Resilience Fund.
SCVO have also set up a Third Sector Resilience Fund for charities, community groups, social enterprises and voluntary organisations working in Scotland. The fund supports organisations that already deliver services and products but find themselves in financial difficulties directly as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The primary intention of the fund is to help third sector organisations to stabilise and manage cash flows over this difficult period.
Individuals who are facing difficulties can find out about hardship grants here.
A new resource has been published by SCDC and Public Health Scotland to support community organisations to carry out their vital work safely during the Covid-19 outbreak: https://www.scdc.org.uk/supporting-communities-safely
