Foodbanks and community cafés

Below is a list of locations and organisations supporting the people of Fife by providing short term access to emergency food and support for people experiencing a crisis.

    Pop in for a FREE cuppa and cake from 12.30pm, and from 1.00pm you can select from a variety of fresh and ambient food and other items. Bring your own bag.

    Referral needed for food parcels. Your local food banks work with referral agencies to issue food vouchers to those in need of emergency food in times of crisis. We provide a minimum of three days' nutritionally balanced, tinned and dried food donated by the local community.

    The Dunfermline Advocacy Winter Warmer Drop-In will be available on Wednesday afternoons to all people currently accessing an individual service with Dunfermline Advocacy. It will provide a much-needed warm space, a hot drink and treat. The drop-in will provide an opportunity to spend time socially with other people in a safe and welcoming environment. It will also be an opportunity to ensure that people are accessing all supports and funding available, providing practical tips and information along with signposting and/or referring people to other services as appropriate.

Community Use Venues will be open for the community to access tea and coffee and a wide variety of board games whilst community activity takes place in the following venues:

Community Use Venues have 350 activity passes for individuals & families to use at a variety of sites across Dunfermline. These activity passes include racquet sports (badminton, short tennis, table tennis & squash) or snooker. These will be issued out via our partner networks and pantries:

Community Job Clubs

Community job clubs provide a space where people can get access to a PC to undertake job searches, create and develop CVs and apply for jobs. Our staff will be able to offer advice on most aspects of searching and applying for work.
