Foodbanks and community cafés

Below is a list of locations and organisations supporting the people of Fife by providing short term access to emergency food and support for people experiencing a crisis.

  • Baldridgeburn Pantry

    Baldridgeburn Community Centre, Dunfermline, KY12 9EH
    Community Fridge/Larder/Pantry
    Pop in for a FREE cuppa and chat from 12.30pm. From 1.00pm to 2.30pm, you can access a variety of fresh and ambient food for £2. Bring your own bag and refill tubs. Also, regular pop ups from a range of advice/support services, and access to further help.

    Food Bank
    Referral needed for food parcels. Your local food banks work with referral agencies to issue food vouchers to those in need of emergency food in times of crisis. We provide a minimum of three days' nutritionally balanced, tinned and dried food donated by the local community.

Cafe Inc

Cafe Inc is a free lunch club for children, young people and families in Fife. No need to book, no criteria, free for all. Venues across Fife. Just pop in and grab a bag of tasty food to go.

Cafe Inc is not available over the Christmas break but you can still find details of our Warm Welcome venues and various local food providers online. Opening times may change over the festive period so please check with the venue beforehand.

Local activities

Community Use Venues will be open for the community to access tea and coffee and a wide variety of board games whilst community activity takes place in the following venues:

  • Dell Farquharson Community Centre
  • Townhill Community Centre
  • Baldridgeburn Community Centre

Community Use Venues have 350 activity passes for individuals & families to use at a variety of sites across Dunfermline. These activity passes include racquet sports (badminton, short tennis, table tennis & squash) or snooker. These will be issued out via our partner networks and pantries:

  • Dunfermline High
  • Queen Anne High
  • Woodmill High
  • Baldridgeburn Community Centre
  • Dell Farquharson Community Centre
  • Townhill Community Centre

Community Job Clubs

Community job clubs provide a space where people can get access to a PC to undertake job searches, create and develop CVs and apply for jobs. Our staff will be able to offer advice on most aspects of searching and applying for work.
