  • Community Suppers Burntisland

    This is a volunteer run service and is available every Saturday evening in the winter starting 2nd November and ending on last Saturday in March 2025. It is a pay what you can as the volunteers rely on donations to feed the community. It is a 3-course meal for the Burntisland community.

    Low Cost Hot Meals
    Greener Kirkcaldy's weekly Community Meal provides an opportunity for local people to meet each other, share stories, and eat together. Anyone can come along. Pay what you feel. Booking is required. To book a place, call us on 01592 858 458 or sign up at the meal for the following week. Please let us know what sitting you would like to join. Please only book your own place. We can’t hold spaces for other people who have not booked.

    Surplus Food
    Surplus Food Waste is a community group that works with supermarkets and retailers to provide much needed surplus food waste to those who need it most. We do this by organising surplus pop ups in public community areas.

Warm Spaces/ Community Assistance

Warm spaces will be established in various venues and settings across the area which are designed to offer safe, warm places for people in our communities to spend time, participate in activities and access support.

Community Job Clubs and Welfare support

Local welfare staff are available to offer support on a number of different topics such as:

  • A space where people can get access to a PC to undertake job searches
  • Support to develop and create CVS or supporting statements
  • Support to apply for jobs
  • Information on vocational and non-vocational training opportunities in their local area
  • Information on how to connect with volunteering opportunities

Welfare support

  • Benefit Checking – to ensure you’re receiving everything you’re entitle to
  • Support with completing benefit applications
  • Help with crisis support such as crisis grants, other financial support and access to food
  • Information on other support services and help accessing them
