Foodbanks and community cafés

Below is a list of locations and organisations supporting the people of Fife by providing short term access to emergency food and support for people experiencing a crisis.

    Food Parcels
    Emergency food parcels, referrals to the Glenrothes Food bank, phone top ups and small welfare payments to people with the North Glenrothes area. Family breakfast club Wednesdays and Fridays 8.00am to 8.45am with a view to running this every week day if we have enough interest. There is no cost and the whole family are invited. Only children Primary 5 and up can attend alone.
    Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 3.00pm Saturdays 10.00am to 12.00pm

    Glenrothes foodbank provide 3 day and 7 day food parcels, fuel vouchers, clothes homeware items and café. We work on a referral service

  • Leslie Bapist Church

    School Holiday Food
    Leslie Baptist Church are providing lunch bags each Monday of the school holidays with food items for families to make their own lunches. These will be delivered between 11.00am and 12.00pm on Monday mornings. We have emergency food bags from Glenrothes Foodbank which are available on Sundays between 10.00am and 1.001am. We will also signpost families to other support agencies where appropriate.

    Food resilience to families in need.  There is no referral required to attend the pantry - anyone within the Leslie and surrounding area is able to utilise the service but it is asked that it is not used more than once a week.

Cafe Inc

Cafe Inc is a free lunch club for children, young people and families in Fife. No need to book, no criteria, free for all. Venues across Fife. Just pop in and grab a bag of tasty food to go.

Cafe Inc is not available over the Christmas break but you can still find details of our Warm Welcome venues and various local food providers online. Opening times may change over the festive period so please check with the venue beforehand.

Warm Welcome venues/ Community Assistance

Warm Welcome venues will be established in various venues and settings across the area which are designed to offer safe, warm places for people in our communities to spend time, participate in activities and access support.

Community Job Clubs

Community job clubs provide a space where people can get access to a PC to undertake job searches, create and develop CVs and apply for jobs. Our staff will be able to offer advice on most aspects of searching and applying for work.
