Warm Welcome venues/ Community Assistance

Warm Welcome venues will be established in various venues and settings across the area which are designed to offer safe, warm places for people in our communities to spend time, participate in activities and access support.

  • New4U Children's Clothing Bank

    A dedicated charity organisation supporting families in need by providing essential clothing for children 0 to 18 years old. Serving families from West Fife villages, Rosyth, Inverkeithing, Burntisland and as far as Ballingry and Lochgelly. They accept donations and you can drop them at the donation box located at 14 The Spinneys, Dalgety Bay KY11 9SL. Referrals from organisations and self-referrals are welcome referralsnew4u@hotmail.com

Community Job Clubs and Welfare support

Local welfare staff are available to offer support on a number of different topics such as:

Community Job Clubs

  • A space where people can get access to a PC to undertake job searches
  • Support to develop and create CVS or supporting statements
  • Support to apply for jobs
  • Information on vocational and non-vocational training opportunities in their local area
  • Information on how to connect with volunteering opportunities

Welfare support

  • Benefit Checking – to ensure you’re receiving everything you’re entitle to
  • Support with completing benefit applications
  • Help with crisis support such as crisis grants, other financial support and access to food
  • Information on other support services and help accessing them
