Fife Climate Forest is a partnership of national, regional and local organisations. The primary aim is protecting and planting trees across Fife for the future.
Fife's Forest and Woodland Strategy sets out the vision for the use, protection and expansion of woodlands over the next ten years.
Fife Climate Forest acts as a delivery mechanism for expanding Fife's woodland coverage and supporting resilience to the impact of climate change.

Fife Climate Forest plays an active part in supporting the Transforming Fife’s Greenspaces project.

There are different ways you can get involved to support the Fife Climate Forest.
A Fife-wide survey collecting important information about trees in our neighbourhoods has been created for members of the public to use. The survey has been developed as part of work funded by Climate Action Fife, Fife Council, and the Transforming Fife’s Greenspaces project.
Information collected through the survey helps to improve understanding of the trees in our villages, towns, and cities, whilst providing an opportunity for Fifers to engage with these trees.
To find out more information on how you can get involved, visit Fife tree canopy survey.
You can support Fife Climate Forest through Fife Coast and Countryside Trust's tree warden scheme. Tree wardens are local tree champions who plant, look after and stand up for the trees in their patch.
The scheme is open to anyone. No prior training or experience in tree management are needed – just a love of trees and a few hours to spare.
For more information about becoming a tree warden, visit Fife tree warden scheme - Fife Coast & Countryside Trust.
Fife Climate Forest involves a number of partner organisations working together to achieve our shared objectives.
