The Plan4Cowdenbeath 2023-26
"Our vision is to work together to meet the needs of individuals and communities in the Cowdenbeath Area. We will listen and engage with our communities, shaping local services to support them achieve their full potential. We will provide opportunities, resources and deliver services, based on what our communities tell us".
The Plan was developed and finalised in September 2023. It sets out three key priority areas (Tackling Poverty, Raising Aspiration and Community Engagement) for the Cowdenbeath Area, and specific areas for improvement to tackle some of the local challenges. You can have a look through the Plan4Cowdenbeath to find out more about how this will be used to work towards our vision over the next three years. It has also been designed to compliment and support the Plan4Fife, ensuring we continue to work towards the overall aims across the region.
The Year 1 Update is now available to view, which highlights some of the work which has taken place over year one to address some of the improvement areas of the Plan4Cowdenbeath.
