The Dunfermline New City Assembly is a new project that brings together local people, community groups and organisations to talk about the future of our city. It’s a chance for everyone to have a say in what Dunfermline should look like in the years ahead.
This initiative is led by the Electoral Reform Society Scotland, Fife Council and the Scottish Government, working in partnership with the community. Together, we’re creating a Citizens’ Assembly; a group of local people who will help set priorities and guide decisions.
Citizens’ Assemblies are a powerful way for communities to shape what matters most to them. This pilot project is part of a wider effort to give people more say in local democracy.
You can get involved by signing the Dunfermline Declaration - it’s a simple way to show your support and add your voice to the conversation.
