About Pride in Place

Methil and Buckhaven have been selected to receive £20m of Pride in Place funding to support community-led regeneration over the next 10 years.

This funding is intended to support communities to improve their place and address local priorities, by making lasting and positive changes. While success will look different in every place, the strategic objectives of the Pride in Place programme are to:

Methil and Buckhaven were selected for Pride in Place because they meet the program's criteria, including showing needs, measured through the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) and the Community Needs Index (CNI).
